We did the IABCA show this last weekend. Max is now qualified as a National and International Jugend (JA)! He took 2nd group out of 8 puppies for the first show and 1st in group out of 9 puppies at the second show, but didn't win any best in shows, sorry! He did great, though, and got tons of attention. You and Debbie may be getting lots of calls (or at least a lot of hits on the web sites) many people came by to take his picture. My husband said we should have made up business cards to hand out for all the interest he created. The two USA judges said he was good and gave him SG-1's but the two international judges were very enthusiastic, commenting that he was excellent type, had good movement, and was a beautiful shepherd. They seemed to be more familiar with the King Shepherd (of course we didn't get lucky enough to have either of those working the best in show rings!).
