Hi
Shelley!
Just wanted to send you a quick note to say how much
we are enjoying the new addition to our family here
in Toronto. Boris is a constant source of joy and
warmth. He loves playing with his toys, but
particularly loves attacking cardboard boxes for
some reason. He continues to grow in leaps and
bounds, has already learned to sit, is now doing
number 2 exclusively outside in the yard. Number 1
is almost always done on some newspapers by the back
door.
Our journey back from Elkins Park went very
smoothly, and Boris slept in his crate most of the
way home. Claire sat next to him in the back seat
and rested a hand gently on one of Boris's forepaws,
which he continues to need in order to get to sleep
at night.
Thanks again, Shelley, for providing us with such a
beautiful pup. He's everything we'd imagined he'd be
and more. Hope you and your family are all happy
and healthy.
Warm regards,
Sean, Claire and Boris Le Bigfoot |

Tehya is definitely going to be a big girl
(I love it). She takes after her mom
(referring to myself. When people see
her and I walking down the street they won't
want to mess with either one of us.
:0)
All joking aside. She loves to eat!!!!
and I am so happy about that. I will
actually be able to keep her on the same
food forever. She LOVES THE SNOW and is
just adorable when she sticks her head in it
and comes up with a white nose (I would
swear it was a little bear). I truly
think she will miss it when it is gone.
She is scheduled to go in this Wednesday for
more shots and will be safe for me to take
everywhere. I can't wait to get her
out and about. I know she is bored
sitting in my house all day because when I
get home she is like a kangaroo. The
only habit I am having a hard time breaking
is her biting. She loves my feet,
hands, clothes, blankets and just about
anything else she can get her mouth on.
I can't wait until she loses those sharp,
sharp baby teeth. :0)
I just took some pictures this evening and
will get more this weekend. She is
growing like a weed. I have yet to
figure out what she will look like grown up
but I know she will be very unique looking.
I will eventually try to download a picture
of her onto the King Shepherd site (once I
figure out how). It's really nice
being back.
Well, I will send you an update after her
vet appt.

Hi Shelley,
Konig is the smartest dog
I have ever owned and great companion to both my
wife and myself. He has lived up to every
expectation that we had hoped. Konig is now
120 pounds and almost 30" at 10 1/2 months old.
We wanted a big, handsome, intelligent animal and
you selected just the right guy for our family.
Konig completed basic obedience training and went on
to complete advanced training. He completed the AKC
CGC and tested for the therapy dog certification, he
can not receive that certification however until he
is at least one year old. Everyone including our
trainers comments his great personality, beauty,
alertness and size. I always wanted to participate
in search/rescue and FEMA, so I joined the Liberty
Search Rescue training team, part of the National
Search and Rescue unit on special invitation from
the president of the organization who has help in
his training. We sure could use another just like
him to keep him company. We couldn't be prouder or
happier.

Dear Shelley:
Gunner is like a corn stalk on a hot summer
day---you can actually watch him grow!!! :^)
When I took him to the vet he weighed in at 37.9
lbs. He was definitely a hit and everyone
wanted to see what a "King Shepherd" looked
like. They all took one look and commented on
how big he would be when he was full grown. He
received his next series of puppy shots and I took a
copy of the shots he had already received along with
the information on King Shepherds that was with the
medical information so they would know something
about Gunner and what he needed.
He
is healthy and is doing fine. He gets to go to
school Friday afternoon as Michaela is the featured
student of the week in her class.
Thanks for your continued advice and I'll get the
pictures sent shortly. I just wanted to let
you know all is well here and Gunner is doing
super--we swear he is growing right before our eyes!
:)
Thanks,
Connie
